HYTROL TO HIRE 140 PRODUCTION EMPLOYEES

JONESBORO, Ark. — The Jonesboro-based Hytrol Conveyor Company has announced plans to create an additional 140 local jobs in its production facility in the first quarter of 2019. These 140 full-time production employees add to its current staffing level of nearly 1200.

The growth is in response to forecasts of additional growth for the company, which comes off of a record year in 2017 and strengthens its position as the largest manufacturing employer in Northeast Arkansas.

“We’re looking for great people to take part in our growth,” said Hytrol President, David Peacock. “Hytrol has experienced tremendous success because of the hard work and dedication of our employees. Our continued success is firmly linked to our continued commitment to the Jonesboro community; creating these jobs is one way we can affirm that.”

The Jonesboro community has enjoyed low unemployment rates in the past few years and is currently below 3 percent. Peacock is counting on augmenting competitive pay with other employment benefits of Hytrol, such as its free medical clinic and gym for employees, to help drive qualified local workers to apply for positions.

“While employers must offer competitive pay, Hytrol is also a great place to work,” Peacock said. “Our culture is incredible, and we want people to join us who are committed to our continued success while protecting that culture.”
