Poston Speaks on Community Involvement at Business Expo

JONESBORO, Ark.— Many businesses from the Jonesboro area came together to participate in the annual Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Expo. Hytrol Board Member and Chief Development Officer Phillip Poston participated in the event hosted at the First National Bank Arena on April 2 and 3.

Poston was featured on a panel of speakers for the event’s luncheon. Also on the panel were other area business owners and leaders—Cameron Campbell and Jeffrey Higgins. Opening remarks were given by Diana Davis. Discussions centered around each leader’s journey to success and the business changes they’ve witnessed throughout their careers.

“Community is a core value at Hytrol,” Poston said. “We believe that investing locally will make a positive impact, and we do that with both our time and our talents. I thoroughly enjoyed being on the luncheon panel with Jeffrey and Cameron. Hearing about their successes and being able to shine a bright light on the successes of our Hytrol Family was great!”

The expo’s theme “Total Eclipse of the Ark” paid homage to Jonesboro being in the path of totality for the total solar eclipse on April 8. Hytrol and many other businesses decorated booths, gave out promotional items and provided information about their products and services. A new addition to this year’s expo was a career expo portion in the afternoon where companies interested in recruiting could take resumes and chat with potential applicants.
