Phillip Poston Appointed to the Hytrol Board of Directors

JONESBORO, Ark.—Hytrol Conveyor Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Phillip Poston as the newest member of the Hytrol Board of Directors. His appointment was announced at the annual leadership meeting on January 16th. Poston has worked for Hytrol since 1999 and currently holds the title of Chief Development Officer with the company.

Poston has held several management and director-level roles in the company including being the first-ever Director of Operations for Hytrol’s Fort Smith facility. Other board members include: Ruth Poston, Debra Lewis, Sherry Stringer, Chairman Robert Jones, Hytrol President David Peacock and past president Gregg Goodner. Poston becomes a third-generation board member, as the son of current member Ruth Poston and grandson of the late Tom Loberg, Hytrol’s founder and former board chair, and the late Rigmor Loberg who also served as a board member.

Poston said, “I am both humbled and honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors. I see this as a demonstration of our core values of commitment and family. The board has had family leadership since its inception and will continue this commitment to our Hytrol family for many years to come.”

His commitment and talents are evident in his willingness to take on and excel at challenging tasks, like attaining his MBA at UNC or standing up Hytrol-Fort Smith. He makes our board-room better! Poston graduated with a Marketing degree from Arkansas State University and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, where he was recognized by his MBA peers for the Core Values Award for Excellence. He is active in his church and enjoys being a positive influence in the community, both Jonesboro and Fort Smith. Poston finds great joy in being married to his wife, Lori and having a
23-year-old son Cameron, who also works in the company’s Fort Smith facility.

Poston was born and raised in Jonesboro. His hobbies include photography, running, pickle ball, and learning all he can about the latest gadgets and technology.
