Hytrol Wins Eight Awards at 2024 American Advertising Awards

JONESBORO, Ark.—Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. was recognized at the 2024 American Advertising Awards (ADDY) Gala on Friday, February 23. The event was held at the Cooper Alumni Center and hosted by the Northeast Arkansas chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).

Hytrol’s marketing team took home eight different recognitions for their submitted pieces. The company received three Gold ADDYs, three Silver ADDYs and one honorable mention. The team was also chosen for the Judges’ Choice Award for their redesign of the Hytrol website. Submissions included commercials, online videos, posters, and art installations published by the team in 2023. The gold award-winning submissions will advance automatically to the AAF district competition to compete with work from Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

“This kind of recognition for the team is well-earned,” said Director of Marketing Paige Phillips. “At the end of the day, they do valuable work with the goal of supporting Hytrol with professional and effective marketing. I am proud to be associated with a team of such tremendous professionals, and proud to be at a company whose leadership trusts and supports us.”

The professional American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest competition, attracting more than 25,000 entries each year. The competition is three-tiered, going from local to district to national. Marketing professionals and agencies from around the region submit advertising work across a myriad of categories to be evaluated by industry advertising experts. Judges for the NEA awards were chosen from outside the marketplace, and entries for the local competition spanned the entire state of Arkansas.

Bob West, Hytrol’s Chief Compliance Officer said, “This is a very talented marketing team. The pride and enjoyment they take in their work is contagious, and I’m very glad they’re receiving this much-deserved recognition.”
