Hytrol Expands Fort Smith Facility
FORT SMITH, Ark. — Hytrol Conveyor Co. is pleased to announce the expansion of its Fort Smith facility as part of a plan for future output growth.
Hytrol President David Peacock said the company has leased the remaining portion of its current Fort Smith production facility. The long-term lease went into effect in April, and Hytrol now has possession of the entire building.
The Fort Smith facility, which primarily manufactures Hytrol conveyors for the parcel industry, produced approximately $450,000 in products per day in 2025, according to Peacock. With current projections and the expanded space, the Northwest Arkansas operation is expected to reach $1 million per day by 2027.
“We’re performing at a level that no one else in our industry is performing,” said Peacock. “Continued strategic growth in Fort Smith, along with our efforts in Jonesboro, will help us accomplish several companywide goals that benefit our customers, partners and employees.”
Hytrol Fort Smith began production in 2021. Including the newly leased space, the facility now encompasses roughly 612,000 square feet. Hytrol is headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where the main production facility is approximately 660,000 square feet.
