Hytrol Expands with Second Facility in Arkansas

David Joe Deaton Honored as Hytrol's 2025 Loberg Award Recipient
JONESBORO, Ark.— David Joe Deaton has been named the 2025 Loberg Award recipient. A special video presentation was given at Hytrol’s Jonesboro facility during Loberg Day to announce Deaton’s accomplishment.
Loberg Day honors the company’s founder, Tom Loberg, who was born on July 1.
The Loberg Award is presented to a Hytrol employee who best embodies the core values of faith, family, empathy, commitment, gratitude and community. These values were instilled in the company by Mr. Loberg and the award is the highest honor an employee can receive. 
Hytrol employees nominate who they believe should be selected. Then, a panel of employees from across the company comes together to select finalists and a Loberg Award winner.
Deaton has been with Hytrol for over 40 years and is the Human Resources Manager in Jonesboro.
“It’s a genuine honor,” Deaton said upon receiving the award. “To be put in a category where you displayed certain characteristics that Tom Loberg displayed is quite humbling.”
Deaton is the ninth person to receive the Loberg Award. The finalists for the 2025 award were Pat Roby, Rebekah Cole and Jon Warren.
Previous Loberg Award recipients include Tony Sartin (2017), Wayne McGill (2018), Dan Holmes (2019), Teressa Vinson (2020), Jeff Hall (2021), Randy Manis (2022), Louie Asher (2023) and Boyce Bonham (2024).
