Hytrol Welcomes Will Mangrum as Director of Fort Smith Operations

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Will Mangrum will lead Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc.’s Fort Smith operations as Director of Fort Smith Operations.

Mangrum has 14 years of manufacturing experience. He has worked in multiple manufacturing industries, including material handling, energy, oil and gas, industrials and food and beverage.

“I am excited about joining the Hytrol Family, leveraging our strengths, learning where we have opportunities and partnering with the Fort Smith leadership team to develop a strategy to facilitate sustainable improvement,” said Mangrum.

Mangrum will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Fort Smith site and will be Hytrol’s representative in the Fort Smith community. He will spend the first few months learning Hytrol’s business and manufacturing processes and creating connections with Hytrol employees.

“After meeting the team and learning the processes, I will focus on sustaining our fundamental operational processes and developing a strategy to enhance the safety and continuous improvement cultures.”

Mangrum has a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas and was a Hytrol intern in the summer of 2008. He will work alongside Vice President of Manufacturing Operations Steve Dunlevy and cross-functionally with the Fort Smith leadership team, operations, HR, supply chain and engineering teams across Hytrol.

“It is a privilege to have someone with as much drive and knowledge as Will join our team,” said Dunlevy. “He brings an array of experience that will push our operations practices in Fort Smith.”

Originally from Paragould, Arkansas, Mangrum will be joined in Fort Smith with his fiancé, Sarah Beth. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, following the St. Louis Cardinals and everything Arkansas Razorbacks.
