Anke Mortensen Joins Hytrol as Category Manager

FORT SMITH, Ark. –  Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. has named Anke Mortensen as Category Manager. Mortensen will serve Hytrol by developing supplier relations and commodity management.

Mortensen joins Hytrol with over a decade of experience and has held numerous positions in process engineering, materials management, inventory management, supplier and contractual negotiations, supplier development, sourcing development, and multiple roles in commodity management.

“I look forward to the continuance of the strong supplier relationships that Hytrol has. In addition, I hope to bring my expertise to collaborate and assist in improving efficiencies within those relationships between our suppliers and our Hytrol procurement team,” said Mortensen.

Mortensen has an industrial engineering degree from the University of Arkansas and will focus on developing supplier relations.

“The addition of Anke to our team will be a warm welcome,” said Director of Materials Andy Maupin. “Her experience and in-depth knowledge of commodity management will help Hytrol continuously move forward in our supplier relations.”

In her free time, Mortensen enjoys traveling, hiking, and gardening. She will work at Hytrol’s Fort Smith facility.
