Verl Mitchell Joins Hytrol as Director of Supply Chain

JONESBORO, Ark. — Hytrol Conveyor Company is proud to announce the hiring of Verl Mitchell as the Director of Supply Chain.

Mitchell joins the conveyor manufacturer, bringing over 28 years of experience in supply chain and manufacturing. The Paragould, Arkansas native holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Arkansas State University and has worked for Walmart, International Paper, Monroe/Tenneco, and the Colson Group. His background includes extensive knowledge of SAP and Epicor systems, supporting effective operations, planning, and data-driven decision-making.

In his role at Hytrol, Mitchell will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of all supply chain functions, including procurement, planning, inventory management, and supplier development. He will partner with internal stakeholders across the organization to align supply chain initiatives with business objectives, ensure continuity of supply, and drive performance improvements.

“My goal is to strengthen the systems, partnerships, and processes that keep Hytrol’s supply chain both resilient and agile, supporting the company’s continued growth and reputation for quality,” Mitchell said. “I look forward to building strong relationships across the organization and with our supplier partners as we work together to enhance efficiency, reliability, and long-term value.”

Mitchell and his wife of 13 years look forward to adding new family pets to their home very soon. He also enjoys the outdoors and being a craftsman—most recently designing and building a wooden front porch swing.
