Poston named to CEMA Board of Directors

JONESBORO, Ark.—Hytrol Conveyor Company Inc., is pleased to announce Phillip Poston has been appointed to the board of directors for the Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA). Poston was added to the board at the 2025 annual meeting on March 28th at the Lost Pines Resort just outside of Austin, Texas.

The main goals of the CEMA organization are to promote the common interests of its members and the conveyor industry of the Americas and to promote the standardization of design, manufacture and application on a voluntary basis and in such a manner as it will not impede the development of conveying equipment and component parts or lessen competition.

Phillip Poston

CEMA hosts three in-person and one virtual meeting each year for companies to discuss new developments in conveyor design, technology and application.

Poston will serve on the board for a three-year term, and in addition to his board duties he will also serve as the Co-Chair of the Membership and Marketing Committee.

Poston said, “I’m honored to represent Hytrol on the CEMA Board of Directors and to serve alongside so many respected leaders in our industry. It’s especially meaningful to follow in the footsteps of others from Hytrol who have served on the CEMA board before me including David Peacock, Gregg Goodner and my grandfather, Tom Loberg.”
