Poston Appointed to Arkansas Research Alliance Board of Trustees

JONESBORO, Ark.—Hytrol Conveyor Company is proud to announce that Phillip Poston, Chief Development Officer, has been appointed to the Arkansas Research Alliance (ARA) Board of Trustees.

The Arkansas Research Alliance, established in 2008, is an organization dedicated to strengthening the state’s economy through science, technology and talent. Its Board of Trustees is composed of several Arkansas business leaders and the chancellors of Arkansas State University, University of Arkansas, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, University of Arkansas Pine Bluff and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Poston joined fellow trustees at the August 13-14 board meeting, where members convened to discuss statewide research initiatives. In addition, they had the opportunity to tour the ArcBest Innovation Lab and three University of Arkansas facilities: Multi-user Silicon Carbide Research and Fabrication (MUSiC), Anthony Timberlands Center for Design and Materials Innovation, and Institute for Integrative & Innovative Research (I3R).

Poston said, “I’m honored to join the Arkansas Research Alliance Board of Trustees. At Hytrol, we’re passionate about research-driven innovation that advances our industry. I look forward to helping Arkansas continue to lead the way in developing solutions that shape the future of industry.”
