Crain Promoted to Purchasing Manager

JONESBORO, Ark. — Hytrol Conveyor Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Clay Crain to Purchasing Manager. Crain has been with the company for 27 years and has held roles across production, operations, quality, customer service, applications, engineering and purchasing.

As Purchasing Manager, Crain will focus on driving supply chain accountability, improving purchasing efficiency and ensuring material availability to support production and meet customer expectations. He will work closely with internal operations, engineering and planning as well as with Hytrol’s suppliers to strengthen alignment and execution across all areas.

Crain said, “One of the biggest challenges in this role is managing supply chain variability while maintaining performance. It requires our team to have clear communication and the ability to take ownership of vital processes.”

Crain is originally from Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and is active in his community and church. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family: wife, Stephanie and three children Connor, Collin and Rori. Crain also volunteers with Warrior Athletics, Inc.
