Four Promoted to Vice President Positions at Hytrol

JONESBORO, Ark.— Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc. has announced the promotion of Eduardo Mata, Boyce Bonham, Matt Farris, and Todd McClung into vice president-level positions.

Mata will assume the position of VP, Human Resources. In this position, Mata will be responsible for the oversight of all human resource functions across the organization. He joined Hytrol in 2018 as its Human Resources Director.

“Ed has been an essential member of our team since he came on board,” said Hytrol President David Peacock. “His experience in manufacturing and in employee relations has been crucial in the past few years as we have navigated through COVID-19 and started a new facility in Fort Smith.”

Bonham will take the role of VP, Chief Engineer. He has been with Hytrol since 1985, starting with the company as a design engineer and working in several capacities since. He was recognized by DCVelocity magazine as a 2022 Rainmaker and has been heavily involved in creating and maintaining safety and quality standards in the industry with his involvement in the Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA).

“Boyce is incredibly knowledgeable about our solutions and the industry,” said Peacock. “He’s made a big impact on our quality while also overseeing some of our customer-facing departments, including our Customer Care team and customer training. His dedication to Hytrol is impressive and he is more than deserving of this new role.”

Matt Farris will assume the role of VP, Integrator Liaison. His most recent role has been as the Director of Business Development, and he has been employed by Hytrol for 38 years.

“Matt has played an important role with our Integrator Partner Network for a long time,” said Peacock. “He’s well-known by everyone in the industry, and as that industry has evolved, Matt has been integral to our relationship with our incredible network. I know he’ll continue to represent Hytrol well in this new position.”

McClung will be VP, Manufacturing Operations for the Jonesboro facility. He worked at Hytrol for 19 years from 1996 to 2005 before returning as Special Projects Manager in 2015. He has been Director of Manufacturing Operations for the Jonesboro facility since July 2020, overseeing tremendous growth as he has cultivated consistency in production and performance.

“Todd has been a high performer for us, and he’s also been a wonderful representative of Hytrol’s values. He has a lot of experience in manufacturing and has worked his way up into the role he’s been so successful at here. We’re all excited to see Todd perform well in this new position,” said Peacock.

The new positions will take effect on January 1, 2023.
