BOBBY BROWN SELECTED TO NEA UNITED WAY BOARD OF DIRECTORS

JONESBORO, Ark. — The United Way of Northeast Arkansas has selected Hytrol Project Engineer Bobby Brown to serve on their Board of Directors. He was installed during their January meeting.  

The organization works to improve lives by building a stronger and healthier community. Their fundraising efforts such as “Live United Under the Stars,” “Batting for a Better Tomorrow” and others help support programs such as the free tax preparation program, Stuff the Bus and Day of Caring.

“I am thankful for this chance to serve NEA in this compacity,” said Brown. “The United Way provides excellent opportunities to improve the education and health of those in Jonesboro. I am proud to work with them and look forward to working with other board members on projects.”

Brown is no stranger to volunteering with Jonesboro-area organizations. He is also a past market board member of the Northeast Arkansas March of Dimes and is past president of the Nettleton Education Foundation.

He received his bachelor’s in engineering and master’s in engineering management from Arkansas State University and has worked at Hytrol since 1997 in various roles. He and his wife, Sherry, have two children, Kristen and Dylan.
