Pat Roby Named 2026 Loberg Award Winner

JONESBORO, Ark.— Pat Roby is the winner of Hytrol’s prestigious Loberg Award. The award is announced every year during Loberg Day festivities. Loberg Day honors company founder, Tom Loberg, who was born on July 1.

The Loberg Award is presented to a Hytrol employee who best embodies the core values Mr. Loberg instilled in the company—faith, family, empathy, commitment, gratitude and community. It is the highest honor an employee can receive.

Hytrol employees nominate coworkers for the award. Then, a selection panel composed of employees from across the company chooses the finalists and the Loberg Award winner.

“Being selected as a finalist for the Loberg Award is very humbling, and it is an honor being chosen as the recipient this year,” Roby said. “I have to thank my Lord and Savior for giving me the knowledge and wisdom every day to carry out my duties at Hytrol. I am so thankful for Tom Loberg and the Loberg family for providing me and many others with a great place to work. I’m thankful for the friends I have made here and the support that all of the Hytrol family members provide.”

Hytrol President David Peacock said, “Tom Loberg is quoted as saying ‘we have the best people,’ and that is just as true today as it was during Tom’s time. Pat Roby is the epitome of Hytrol’s core values. It is an honor to be able to recognize him and all that he has done for Hytrol.”

Roby has been with Hytrol for 38 years and is the Quality Supervisor in Jonesboro.

He is the 10^th employee to receive the Loberg Award. The finalists for the 2026 award were Rebekah Cole, Mike Owens, Ron Wise and Craig Harris.

Previous Loberg Award recipients include Tony Sartin (2017), Wayne McGill (2018), Dan Holmes (2019), Teressa Vinson (2020), Jeff Hall (2021), Randy Manis (2022), Louie Asher (2023), Boyce Bonham (2024) and David Joe Deaton (2025).
