Hytrol Hires Scott Irons as Director of Plant Engineering and Maintenance
JONESBORO, Ark.—Hytrol Conveyor Company is pleased to announce the hire of Scott Irons as the Director of Plant Engineering and Maintenance. Irons has over 30 years of experience in Maintenance and Engineering that include metal stamping, plastics, aluminum, steel and OEM automotive assembly plants.
Irons was drawn to Hytrol after hearing the company’s goals and vision from some of our leaders. He said, “I’ve spoken with Jason Peters and Todd McClung. Hearing them speak of Hytrol’s future, it is impossible not to want to be a part of that.”
As the Director of Plant Engineering and Maintenance, Irons is responsible for the industrial engineering department and the maintenance teams. He will work closely with manufacturing, facilities and supply chain teams. Main goals for Irons and his team are to implement safe and efficient manufacturing methods to support business needs.
Todd McClung, Hytrol’s Vice President of Manufacturing Operations said, “Scott will be a great addition to our team. With his experience in maintenance and engineering, I look forward to the positive impact he’ll have on Hytrol’s continued growth.”
Irons grew up in Gallatin, Tennessee and holds bachelor’s degrees in Facilities Maintenance and Facilities Management as well as an associate’s degree in electronics. In his free time, he enjoys off-roading, fishing and finding Native American artifacts.
