The Hytrol Story

Two years later, the company began manufacturing gravity units; skatewheel and light-weight roller conveyors. The firm continued to grow. And as Hytrol acquired more dealers throughout the country, Tom made more friends. It was a good relationship between manufacturer and seller. He still appointed new dealers with a handshake and that kind of agreement worked beautifully. Tom, his employees, and his dealers were all part of what Tom called the Hytrol Family, and Tom’s Hytrol Family was made up of friends, friends that not only manufactured, marketed, and sold his product, but friends who helped the company along in its endeavors. Without those friends, Hytrol could never have prospered. As 1955 approached, Tom was about to meet a friend that would forever change his life.
