Hytrol Participates in AMP Annual Banquet

FORT SMITH, Ark.—Hytrol Conveyor Company participated in the annual banquet held by the Arkansas Manufacturing Professionals (AMP). The event was held at the ACHE Research Institute Health & Wellness Center on Thursday, September 19. AMP was formerly known as the Arkansas River Valley Manufacturing Young Professionals (ARVMYP).

The mission of AMP is to empower and develop manufacturing professionals, foster professional relationships, drive industry success, and serve the local community.
Logan Long is the vice president of the AMP board of directors, and the operations manager at Hytrol in Fort Smith. Long played an active role in the event.

Long said, “As vice president of the AMP Board of Directors, my role is to help cultivate a strong network of manufacturing professionals who are committed to advancing our industry and giving back to the community. At Hytrol, I see firsthand how collaboration and innovation drive operational success, and I’m proud to bring those same values to AMP. By fostering professional development and building strategic relationships, we are not only strengthening our industry but also creating opportunities for growth and excellence across our region.”

Also participating in the event was Will Mangrum, vice president of operations for Hytrol in Fort Smith. Mangrum served as a panelist and shared insights about the Western Arkansas Regional Manufacturing Council and gave advice to those pursuing careers in manufacturing.

Mangrum said, “Arkansas and the River Valley are fortunate to have a vibrant community of young manufacturing leaders dedicated to advancing the future of manufacturing in our region and across the state. Their commitment was evident at AMP’s Annual Banquet. It was an honor to represent Hytrol and the Western Arkansas Regional Manufacturing Council at the event and collaborate with fellow leaders in offering guidance that could inspire the next generation of manufacturing professionals.”
