JONESBORO, Ark.—Hytrol Conveyor Company, a world leader in conveyor manufacturing, is proud to announce the hire of Mazharul “Maz” Haque as the Director of Software Engineering for the company. Haque brings a wealth of experience spanning industries such as healthcare, distribution and transportation.

In his role as director, Haque will lead the software engineering team as they endeavor to modernize Hytrol’s software engineering and implementation for digital transformation and successful ERP implementation. Key goals for him are to identify relevant opportunities and solutions, define standards and oversee application design and engineering. Haque will work closely with Hytrol’s Integration Partner Network as well as other internal departments such as quality, manufacturing, engineering, business development and supply chain.

Haque said, “I’m excited to join the Hytrol family. Hytrol is currently undergoing a phase of modernization in software, hardware and technology. There is a pressing need to assemble a team that can partner with Hytrol and drive this evolution and support the company throughout this significant growth period. Haque’s varied career includes 25 years in software engineering, 15 of those years being in a management position. As to his educational background, Haque holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a Master of Science in computer science from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the JAAGO Foundation committed to eradicating poverty and illiteracy throughout Haque’s home country of Bangladesh.

A dedicated family man, Haque is proud of his two daughters pursuing their career dreams and of his wife who helps others though her expertise as an occupational therapist. Haque enjoys audiobooks, podcasts, movies and sports. In his spare time, he also likes exploring new cuisines and traveling with his family.
