Boyce Bonham Honored as Hytrol's 2024 Loberg Award Recipient

JONESBORO, Ark.—Boyce Bonham has been named the 2024 Loberg Award recipient. The award was presented during a special ceremony held at Hytrol in Jonesboro on July 1, a special day for the company, as it is also the birthday of Hytrol’s late founder, Tom Loberg.

The Loberg Award is the highest honor a Hytrol employee can receive. Loberg Day is celebrated each July in Jonesboro and Fort Smith to pay homage to Mr. Loberg and the mission, vision and values he instilled in his company. Loberg Award recipients best embody the core values of faith, family, empathy, commitment, gratitude and community.

Hytrol employees nominate those who they believe should be selected to win the Loberg Award. Finalists and a winner are then chosen by a panel that includes employees from across the company.

Bonham has been with Hytrol for over 39 years and is the Chief Technology Officer. He said, “I’m honored to be chosen. I was fortunate to get the chance to work here while Tom was involved so I could see the values that he demonstrated and instilled in others. His passion and care for employees, integrators and end users was evident in his actions and is key to Hytrol’s continued growth and success. I believe it is our responsibility to pass on that knowledge and experience to the upcoming generations. Hytrol has been a great place to grow in my career, and I’m excited to see what the company’s future holds.”

Hytrol President David Peacock said, “Boyce demonstrates our core values every day. He is a mentor to our young engineers; he is a sounding board for our more veteran engineers. The industry turns to him to address standards, and our customers always come first with Boyce. He is someone I trust to always represent Hytrol in the best possible way and, consequently, I was truly excited to present him with this award.”

Bonham is the eighth person to receive the Loberg Award. The finalists for the 2024 award were Craig Harris, David Joe Deaton and Terri Campbell.

Previous Loberg Award recipients include Tony Sartin in 2017, Wayne McGill in 2018, Dan Holmes in 2019, Teressa Vinson in 2020, Jeff Hall in 2021, Randy Manis in 2022 and Louie Asher in 2023.
