DAN HOLMES SELECTED 2019 LOBERG AWARD RECIPIENT

JONESBORO, Ark. — Hytrol is proud to announce that Dan Holmes, facilitator of materials, is the recipient of the 2019 Loberg Award. He received the award during the company’s annual Loberg Day celebration on July 1.

Holmes has worked at Hytrol since 1999 and has held the positions of punch press operator, brake press operator, team leader and focus factory facilitator.

“This is a privilege and honor to receive this award,” said Holmes. “I am only as good as my team though. I appreciate my co-workers who took the time to nominate me. The credit goes to my parents. They taught me my work ethic, how to interact with others and to always work hard even if no one is watching.”

The Loberg Award is the highest honor a Hytrol employee can receive. It is presented to an employee who exemplifies Hytrol founder Tom Loberg’s character and his values: respect for others, integrity, service and empathy. Recipients of the award are nominated by fellow Hytrol employees and selected by a committee.

The nominations for Holmes highlighted his leadership skills, work ethic, integrity and positive attitude.

“Hytrol is fortunate to have someone of Dan’s caliber and leadership on staff,” said President David Peacock. “He leads by example on the production floor and has the intangible characteristics of a good leader.”

Previous recipients of the award are Tony Sartin, 2017, and Wayne McGill, 2018.

Holmes is a second generation Hytrol employee. His father, Tommy Holmes, worked at the company for 44 years.
