JONESBORO, Ark. — Hytrol Conveyor Company has named Ben Moyer as Director of Engineering. In his new role, Moyer will be responsible for engineered to order, performance engineering, revision control, engineering technology, laser programming, and research and development.


“Ben has demonstrated an ability to influence and lead teams with positive results,” said Vice President of Engineering Mitch Smith. “He has proven to exemplify the core values of Hytrol and leads his teams accordingly.”


Moyer joined the Hytrol Family in 2017 as Director of Research & Development. He earned his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Moyer started his career as a design engineer in 2001 with Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America in Houston.

Moyer was named the material handling industry’s Outstanding Young Professional by MHI in April, at the ProMat trade show. He serves on the Arkansas STEM Coalition Board, along with being on The Academies at Jonesboro High School STEM Advisory Board.
